It all depends on the area within the hospital you'll be working. For example, if you'll be working in billing, I might test you on insurance terminology or coding. If you'll be working in admitting, I might test you on various sections of the hospital, such as surgery, emergency room, neonatal, etc. And if you're going to be working in the lab, I might test you on lab procedures or tests that might be run.

Hi there !
If you are totally new to the hospital way of life,
best way to goabout it is ..go through the
"flow chart" of an ideal hospital, with the help of a person working in a hospital..maybe a staff nurse or a technologist..It will help you to learn some of the commonly used terminologies like OPD, IP, ER, OR,Haemat etc etc..
In addition you should have an idea about the general administrative guidelines ..best thing is to refer the chapter "hospital administration" in the books for hospital management !
It is a very small chapter of around 100 pages.believe me..it will help you..
best wishes..!
