My computer says my camera is not plugged in even though it is, so I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Nothing happened. So I erased everything and tried to install it again. The CD won't install the camera. What should I do or what am I doing wrong? All answers would be greatly appreciated

I erased everything but my pics which I put in my folder. Do I have to erase them too?

I had a similar problem once. I don't know if it's the same issue as yours, but it turned out for me that the USB slots on the back of my computer only worked for one type of hardware (like my mouse), and the USB slots on the front of my computer only work for media-oriented devices such as my camera. Have you tried all the available plugs?

Failing that, I'm afriad I'd have to suggest calling tech support. It's a pain, I know, but in the end if they can't help you they'll at least usually compensate you in some way.

Good luck!
