It's because you can see yourself really loving her. (I liked someone 4 4yrs & took 2yrs to talk to them.) Had the best yr of my life knowing them as a friend with a couple of tounge exchanges. Left it that 1day might meet her in a bar somewhere around this beautiful world. (but then I c..ked it up, opps.) I truly beleive women cannot understand this emotion of a man. This emotion is not necessarily love (how can it be?) it is something that makes the cosmos tick, it is above love as it keeps you going on your journey never finding home & regardless of love no other women will ever give you the same. (sorry ladies.) I sincerely say, ask her straight away, if she is ready do the deed as more beautiful memories & have a beautiful future. If no response don't waste other opportunities or a second (ur be a wuzz.) They were 1 of your soulmates that was not to be. That if you are ever sad just think of their loving smile as they'll give you hope this world is not all that bad. For your realise, that somewhere out there they are having the time of their life. What more would you want for someone you could have loved forever. Gd luck in not walking my path...

That is cute, the fact that you've liked her for a year could be a big help. If you've liked her for that long you obviously know what she likes. Just tell her face to face. All you need to do is be honest. Try not to freak her out though, don't go off on something randomly. Start with a simple hello

I am the shyest person in the world I can't talk to anyone. If you awant my advice do what I did get drunk and then if she turns you down you can say you don't remember or it was the drink talking. That was what i did and he said yes, 10 years and 2 kids later i'm still married to him.

try to be yourself and make her feel comfortable aswell
dont feel shy around her otherwise shell think ure playing a joke on her. be what u know u can be. just be ureself. it might be difficult because u think she will reject u but think the good side

You are probably scared of possibly being rejected by her and the fact that when she finds out the relationship will change. (Take the risk and don't be afraid to talk to her. You never know.)

Send her a nice card asking her out for a coffee and a cake! Tell her you are shy and be yourself.
