Oh girlfriend you will know. First it's the dreams about him cheating. Then the straw that breaks the camels back is him starting fights for no reason, especially when he's not coming home when he's supposed to, gets calls on his cell in the middle of the nights and either answers them in private or won't answer the private numbers in front of you. If he's changing his hygeine habbits, wearing more cologne and different clothing than normal. You will get the vibe and trust them when you do.

I read some of the responses before I started my answer and some of what I've read isnt true. Now I know why my gf thought I was cheating but was'nt (really bad advice). Unfortunantly, unlike myself alot of men cheat. If I'm not happy with who I'm with I break it off and then find someone else. I've known women that have said they were involved with me and they weren't. Enough about me, it's your question. No real way to tell unless you catch him in the act or tap your phone, or hire a private eye. In my case I really was 'fishing'. Good Luck and be carefull.

Easy, if his patterns change..sex differs from the norm....hanging out more than he used to....Your womanly instincts and he starts to treat you and start being very defensive...

there are lots of obvious signs. my ex fiancee left his "girlfriends" socks and underwear under our bed. he even was sooo stupid, that he washed some of them, and put them back in with my clothes! it was soo obvious, when i asked who's they were, and he said they were his moms underwear and socks............his mom was a size 20, and the underwear i found was a size 3. how stupid can they get? ROFLMAO

his habbits changes, he starts to dress differently, may say he has to work late..take notice of his cologne, attitude towards you etc..been there done that have a t-shirt
