I would have to say for me, I couldn't live in Nevada or Arizona. Its too hot and dry and I don't like the scenery or climate there.

Well they're all charming in their own way, but there are some that are better than others. I live in (northeastern) Kansas, on the Missouri border. I've been to Jersey and I prefer Kansas. I've lived in Boston and New York and prefer living in Kansas. I have spent a great deal of time in Chicago but would rather live in Kansas. I've been to Florida, Arizona, California, Texas, etc. and although I exjoyed every trip I've taken I would rather live where I do now. The cost of living here is low, there are low rates of violent crime, the healthcare is good and despite the anti-evolution hype in the news, the public education in my area is top-notch. In other words, I'd rather have Kansas as my home base and be able to afford to visit all of the other states than to live in some place else where I can't afford to travel anywhere else.

Can I give multiple answers?
1. Kentucky. Where I live now. Even if you're from here like me, it's not very welcoming.
2. Connecticut. Too rich and snooty, the cost of living is terrible.
3. Arkansas. Miles and miles of flat, unremarkable land with no vegetation.
4. North Dakota, Minnesota and Alaska. Too cold in the winter.

Probably Louisiana as it is the most polluted state. I've always loved New Orleans, but now after Katrina there's even more cleaning up to do. Over the next several decades, the whole delta may find itself underwater. Mississippi may come in as a close second place I'd least like to live.

I like Arizona. I don't know what state I wouldn't want to live in, because I haven't been to all 50 states to know which ones I don't like.

in the midwest..like kansas and what not..
or near the south in the midwest
id miss the ocean and lakes and all the things here like casinos and boardwalks..theres just nothing out there and the climate is blah
