Well my ex and I dated for about three years. I loved him alot and thought we would be together forever. Anyways.... He will be coming back in to town this week for Christmas. I dont know what to say to him because I'm still not over him. We have not been together for about five months now. I know I will see him because he lives right next door with his parents and I live will my parents. I'm only 22 years old and I dont think it is right to hide inside the whole time he is home. What should I say to him?

Just say you've moved on with your life and don't see any reason to see him. Why would you want to be with people who broke your heart?

I dont think you should worry about it.

If you are single and he is too then you should both just try to interact by being friendly and see how the days go by. If anything, enjoy his company, heck buy him a present. Just do what comes naturally but dont hide from him.

You might find that the months apart will have given you a new interest in eachother, I see fireworks....

If you have a new boyfriend or he has a new girlfriend then respect that space and don't give into urges, but if you both are single then just have some fun!!!!

There's nothing wrong with that!! Have a good weekend, make sure he knows he broke your heart. If you have a great time together then he'll know what he's missing. Then decide to go from there. Good luck!!

Be yourself. If you happen to run into him be civil and say hello. That's about it. Don't allow him to communicate about the past. Don't even let the conversation get that far. Don't give him that satisfaction.
You don't have to hide when he's around. He should be the one hiding :o)
You are only 22 and trust me...relationships get better w/ time for those who have the common sense to learn from bad relationships and have the balls to move on.

Don't hide from him but if he makes an effort to talk to you, then say what is up and ask how he has been. However if he is going to be a jerk and pretend like he doesn't know you, do NOT GO OUT OF YOUR WAY to talk to him. He doesn't deserve it. especially after breaking your heart. Good luck!

I wouldn't say much to him, yet I wouldn't ignore him either. Just say, hi, how's it goin. Hope you have a merry christmas. Something short and simple.

just be your usual self, dont be coscious when he is around, and never never avoid his presence.in fact i advise you to be on your prettiest self, and show him that you are not affected by the break up.by then he will regret breaking up with you.

Say , "no dice man." He broke your heart once, why set yourself up again?
