I use eyelash curlers and mascara (rimmel volume flash) and my eyelashes still don't curl that much, is there a particular mascara i should use or technique to curl them?

This is a trick me, and some other girls i know use. I hate using eyelash curlers, cause they tend to make your lashes look "bent".

Take a spoon, the big silver ones work best. Place your lashes "in" the spoon and your thumb on top of the lashes. Gently do an upward motion as you hold your lashes and the spoon. (just don't pull too hard) This will get them curvy, without the "bent" look.

Also, you can repeat it as many times as you want, and it doesn't mess them up. Mascara will usually weigh the lashes down when you use the eyelash curler. Since you're not bending them, mascara wont weigh them down!

The finished product: great curvy lashes! Try it! The spoon will become another item in your make-up bag! (if you have any q's - email me).

When you curl them with an eyelash curler, count to 10 then go to the next eye. After you finish with that put mascara on.

Heating the curler helps me out a lot, I have long lashes but they are stick straight. I also experimented with TONS of mascaras and found that Daring Curves Mascara from Avon works best. Supposedly the way the brush is shaped gives the curl, whatever it is it works for me and I don't have to pay much.

I heat my eyelash curler with my hairdryer, it does get hot so don't leave it on too long. The best mascara I found was Mayneline blackest black it's not too heavy so it holds the curl from you curler, everything else I tried is too heavy

well there is something you can do to fix this dont worry! =]

If you get eyelash extensions, it will streghten your eyelashes, make them longer, (witch also makes them wayy easier to curl) then you should use Loreal Paris Mascara (its a black tube with a gold cap) Also you should buy a new revlon eyelash curler! Then i would put mascara on, curl them, re apply mascara! Make sure to always put eyeshadow on first! It dilutes your mascara! Hope that helps =]

buy an eylash curler, hold it under very hot water until the metal is hot, then carefully pinch your lashes between the metal, hold for ten seconds. Then apply mascara. I like Mary Kay because it's easy on my eyes, but its more just personal preference.

Good Luck and be careful curling!

it depends on your eyelashes. i like to use an eyelash curler on each of my eyes and count to 15 for each one. then i put on mascara and curl my eyelashes again counting to 15 each time. this works for me but it may not work for u. good luck though.

Blow dry your eyelash curler with a blow dryer til' it's hot enough,if you do this your eyelashes will stay curled all day long, just like a curling iron.

I read if you put your eyelash curler under hot water and then curl it helps them to stay.
