No, it is a movie. They are acting the sex screen part really well. Besides, Halle Berry was married to Eric Bonnet at the time, so I doubt she would cheat on him in front of a camera. Plus, she deserves an Oscar for that role.

Hmmm apparently a lot of people answering are not old enough to get into an R movie. Mainstream movies are going more and more into the hardcore area, Chloe sevigny in Brown Bunny, performs oral sex, hard core. Meg Ryan has sex in 'In the cut' and there are others. As for Billie and Halle, probably, neither one is that good an actor.

I do not believe so. If so, the FCC would have made them use another rating like "U" for Unrated or NC-17 which is a filmmaking no-no when you want to attract as massive a crowd as possible for the sake of ticket sales.
