ok, I started my period in August for the first time, and I've had about 3 or 4 since. Well, my last one (which was between 2 to 4 weeks ago) was extremely small, and about 2 days shorter. Is this normal? What are some are the reasons for this?

Your hormones need to regulate themselves. Since you just started bleeding this can take some time. However, some women will have irregular cycles all their lives. Why don't ask your female relatives (mom, sister or aunt). This will give you a better idea what your own cycle may look like. You might want to keep a journal for fun. :)

This is very normal when you are just starting out. You may not have a regular, predictable cycle for 6 months to a year, if even then. Just enjoy how short and light it is because you have a lifetime of dealing with this and while you may be excited about it now, one day you will dread it!

Nothing to worry about, your hormones are just imbalanced. This is normal for girls when they first start menstruating.

Many girls have irregular cycles during the first few years.

it is normal because you just started no to long ago and in the begining your periods will be irregular. So just give it time before they become regular.

i dont think u should be worreid becuase a lot of messups occur in teh beginning. teh period actually starts to be normal later, when teh hormones are more balanced. you can skip, miss, and get longer periods in this early time, i dont think u need to worry
and good luck for the rest of your life!
