There are many reasons. The ugly ones have inferiority complex. The beautiful ones think you should not get it free, and should wait until they became famous so that you can be charged with a sufficient amount of money for possessing their personal photographs. Some people have had bad experiences where their photos were used to blackmail them. And still in some countries, people are superstitious and thing that their image can be used for black magic or their spirit can be sucked out of their bodies. Some superstitiously think those images taken out of their bodies will weaken them.

I think the reason that some people don't like to have photos taken of them is that they feel self conscious about themselves. When they see their pictures they feel hideous compared to the person next to them....even when they look like a super model! It's all in the head...but sometimes it could be true...just remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I hope this answers your question.

I don't like pictures taken of me, because I'm not photogenic. Many people don't take good pictures at certain angles.
I'm tall, and most of the time, when a picture is taken of me by someone that is shorter than me, it comes out looking bad, because its the wrong angle.
As I get older I have realized that I am getting uglier, and all pictures of me are bad.

For me I always feel like I never look the same in a picture as I do in real life. I look in the mirror and see myself as attractive but when I look at a photo I look like crap.

Some people think they aren't attractive and don't want to see themselves in a photo and other's just don't care about being photographed. Sometimes it's both but then again I don't understand why they don't ethier.

because they are unhappy about their looks or their weight. my way of dealing with that is to keep looking at the picture but looking at it in the state of mind that it is someone else and then things look a lot better. :-). A lot of people have misperception disease where they can not see what they really look like.

depend's... Some people think they don't look good in pictures, some might not want other's to keep they pictures...
some might just say that they dont want to take a picture but they really do and those types are the fussy one's because they want you to ask them 10 times "please take a picture" because they say "Ok, fine"
I was the the type that didnt want others to have my picture!

some people are uncomfortable getting their pictures taken, I guess cause they r shy or aren't attractive. Me, I love to get my pic taken!!!!
