I found out this last week that my baby died six weeks ago. I have yet to miscarry it. Will i expell it? Or is it possible for my body to just absorb it? And are there any known herbs that can induce a miscarriage? I'm trying to avoid a D&C because i don't want to wait 6 months to a year to try again. And also don't necessarily want the medical bill. And please no comments on how it would be best for me to just go ahead with the D&C. Thank you

Herbs That Induce Miscarriage

"Inducing miscarriage" is called abortion. If you mess around with herbs you are more likely to end up with a disabled or unhealthy baby than a miscarriage. I am pro-life, so I urge you to consider adoption if you don't want a baby, but if you absolutely decide to terminate this pregnancy, see a doctor!

My first pregnancy I had a miscarriage and it died at 9 weeks and at almost 11 weeks I started to pass it. I am so sorry for your lost and know how hard it is to deal with the lost. I think most pass 2-4 weeks after it dies. If it doesnt, a D&C might be your only opition. I wish I knew some other way. I wish you all the luck and one day it will happen for you. I am so sorry.

You should talk to your doctor again. A D&C isn't so bad any you can conceive again before 6 months. Your body will heal at it's own pace and an egg will implant again when it is ready. The others are correct too you may have absorbed it.

I'm sorry for your loss -- i would not take advice on what to eat to produce a miscarriage from a website -- contact a midwife, or someone who can help with holistic medicine, and see if you can get some help. There are people who will know about this kind of thing who will be able to help you, and it will be a lot safer.

pennyroyal with blue and black cohosh together can do it. i had a friend go 8 weeks past the loss of her babies before she delivered them. its possible they may be reabsorbed. the risk of infection is actually very very low, nearly nonexistant, so try not to let that be a scare tactic. and though docs will tell you to wait after a D&C, the body is usually healed enough to conceive again with in 2 months.
im sorry for you loss and hope you can find peace with whatever you decide.

I think you have to think twice. Tackling the bill would be the best way. It's for your own good. Six weeks is kinda long time to keep a dead fetus in your body. I can only advice you to see your doctor.
