You are not an alien from some other planet open your eyes and watch what is going on,on the planet you are living on, these girls have talents and that is why they are in this field, you see the people who dont try to do anything but critisize alway have lot of fault to find about every thing even the common dream they dream at nights I am also sure those girls are making much more money than you are in your unrap job , i dont care what you say, and join the crowd go get a hoop earing and get noticed.

The hoop earrings you see most of the girls wearing in the videos are made with a certain kind of gold and are actually customized. You can't find these type earrings in like say Jareds or Reeds( known jewlry stores) because of the weight of the gold used and the customization these earrings are very expensive. So pretty much they represent status like a K-mart purse compared to a Dooney and Burke bag and because the intrest in these particular earrings are cultural that may be why you see mostly African American women wearing them (not to say their the only ones) but maybe that's why they stand out hope this helps!

I guess they just like the way hoop earrings look. It's really hard to say because I don't really pay attention to the earrings they wear. Hoops are more common and always have been. I see woman of many different races that wear hoops all the time. I guess these women in the videos would rather wear hoops.

There's no meaning to it. Many people just like to wear them, and it's not just black people. I'm Spanish, Lebanese, and Irish and I love them. I think they look good. Just my opinion though. To your other comment, I don't know why black guys do the lip thing. To be honest, I've never really paid attention to it.
