He has the genetic skin disease called Vitiligo which depletes the pigment in the skin and he evens it out with makeup! You can't bleach your skin, it would make you sick as heck or kill you!

I have Vitiligo on my right hand and it spreads very slow;y. Michael Jackson literally went white overnight. If he does have Vitiligo then the guys does have the money and resources to even out his skin tone with skin bleachers. Look at Latoya. What is her excuse?

He has a disease called Vertiligo which makes your skin turn white. I saw an interview he did with Oprah many years ago where he had her out to the Neverland Ranch. It would be very impossible for a person to bleach their skin don't you think?

To the best of my knowledge, he has a fairly common skin condition called vitiligo, in which the melanin in the skin stops coloring it dark, so it becomes whitish, but it happens in patches, unfortunately, leading to a spotty look. It spreads progressively. He may have turned to a bleaching solution to even out his skin tone. As for looking white, he may have a psychological illness that has led him to have multiple plastic surgeries that have radically changed his facial appearance so that he looks like a pale version of Diana Ross.

he suffers from Vetiligo...im sure that is what started it..and from there he bleached his skin. but i dont think its 100% bleach. what probably happened was he started getting splotchy white patches..and then bleached it completely. he doesnt have the best self esteem

MJ turned white for the same reason millions of white people burn themselves in teh sun.
He is my hero, whether is he white, purple, or yellow. And the only thing he is guilty of is believing he can change the world.

NO! Michael Jackson didn't have a disease he bleached his skin which made him white.

The only disease he has is some sort of mental illness that causes regression back to childhood.
He bleached his skin to make himself white. He felt inferior and ugly as a black man.

How he turned white is irrelevant, disease or not the point is he wanted to be white meaning he did it on purpose.

i think initally he did have a skin disease but it would have only made splotches of his skin white, not all of it, i think he bleached the rest of his skin so it wouldnt look rediculous, which, in my opinion, was a dismal failure...
