Buying a Chevy has been a popular option for 35-40 years, that doesn't mean it's a good idea. Saying no to drugs has been a popular option since Nacy Reagan, that doesn't mean it's a good idea either.

Yeah, cruise control is fine, for the reasons others have listed. Don't use it when climbing a mountain pass, and don't use it on snow or ice. Also keep in mind that it won't steer for you, you still have to do that yourself. You don't have a robo-car yet, Girl from a dream.

It is fine for your car and won't cause any excessive wear and tear. As another responder pointed out, it will help save gas when you're doing a lot of highway driving. It'll also keep you out of trouble with the law, by maintaining a set speed (assuming you set it to the speed limit, that is).

It causes you to burn more gas but is easy on your foot. using it doesn't really hurt anything except if your in the mountains you will have to readjust it. Or if your pulling a Trailer with a boat or something you could knock it out of wack...

It's good for your gas mileage. It won't hurt your car.

Yes if you have it use it...especially if you do alot of highway driving...you will save gas!
