Everyone feels jealous of others at some point. The best way to deal with it is to realize that the person you are jealous of is probably jealous of you!!

I am the most jealous person in the universe. Even if something happens that makes the jealousy go away, or you forget it, the feeling is so bad that it's painful, and something you never want to experience again. It affects me so profoundly, I find myself trying to find out about other people's lives like a busy-body, just to see if they have or haven't received whatever it is that I'm jealous over. As for coping, well, I've considered suicide, and I've tried other things. There is really no way to cope. Jealousy occurs when you yearn for something someone else has, and have no idea how to obtain it yourself. It is unrealistic to "simply forget," as some people suggest. They don't know what it's all about. Life just has to improve in order for the jealousy to go away. That's the only way.

ONCE a month, During THAT time... I get jealous SOMETIMES! Im normally NOT a jealous person AT ALL.... But for some reason, my emotions run rampit at that time. I deal by taking a few breaths and trying to get away from the situation I dont like so I dont react badly. Im known for letting my emotions rule me and sometimes they grip me and I cant control how I respond to things.... So I really TRY very hard to when Im jealous.

well when i met this guy on line, he was cute and me and him would talk all the time. he tells me stuff and i do the same. but the thing is about him is that he had a "personal friend" that i talk to also and i confronted her about it and she told me that it was true. then i started getting jealous, because i felt threatened and feel that he might do something with her after me.

I think jealousy stems from lack of confidence in yourself, and also lack of peace and acceptance of yourself and others.
Self confidence is something that is earned through living life. You cannot just turn on confidence or go get it through some therapist.
It comes with age and experience most of the time.
