I have a 2004 Camry LE. I am going to get my 30,000 mile maintenance done. He said it would cost $389. AM I getting hosed? That sounds like alot

Why not ask him to detail all that this checkup encompases? Most of the dealer cost is associated to labor ...50 to 75 and hour

in my opinion, yes! a 30k service is a way for them to get there hands on your car and sell you stuff. an '04 camry is a very dependable car, and i would reccomend you go to an indepenent that specializes in toyota/lexus, and if any work needs to be done, ask for toyota parts.

get a price from an independent garage,that shouldnt affect any warranty
