I have tons of movies. 2% of my movies would probably be of a homosexual theme, yet, my friends(male and female) claim I have too much homosexual movies and it's weird. I think in their minds they're questioning my sexuality. But I feel watching movies like 'Bound", "Saving face", "A touch of pink", hell even "The L word" an "Queer as folk" is as interesting as watching any other movie!

I also like watching them because I sometimes feel having to overcome what everyone else thinks to love the person you want to love is really what love is all about.

I also like movies like "Crash" and "jungle fever" but they don't call me racist! A friend of mine even told me I shouldn't watch these movies because I might turn gay! Speak for yourself!

I don't go to a DVD store looking for gay movies and I'm sexually secure and maybe too open-minded but I feel that's how we should be with homosexuality!

Am I 'in the wrong jurisdiction" watching these movies or should they loosen their *** cheeks?!

Your friends really need to lighten up! A movie is just that... a movie!! It's the telling of a story. If it is a good story, then it is a good buy. Look at everyone who went and saw the movie Crying Game... it won awards and everyone saw it... does that make everyone a crossdresser?

That's just my two cents worth!

P.S. I love the 'L' Word!

I don't think anyone should give you static for your choices in movies. I too have always been fascinated by movies with gay themes and am addicted to the LOGO channel where I can watch as many as I want. No one complains when a guy has 400 action movies or a huge supply of goofy comedies. It's just a genre and you should be able to watch what you want.

Watch out for the gay plague - it'll get you! LOL. Movies are movies, people are people. It is entertaining to watch people in movies, especially when they are interesting or different to us. Kinldy tell your friends that you do not "turn" gay. You just are, it just is.
Also, I don't believe there is such thing as being too open minded. In my opinion, your friends are a bit too closed minded. Good Luck.

My (now ex) wife and I used to watch QAF, Will & Grace, etc. While I finally admitted my gayness, my ex is still straight as an arrow and as far as I know, has not changed her viewing habits, so yeah, I guess your friend are uptight, or perhaps you're just being a little too sensitive.

Its them. The world need more people like you. Your friends are just like most people, they are not fully aware of the whole gay-thing. Maybe if they watched a few movies they'll be more understanding... Don't worry, I won't turn gay just like that...

It is one little thing that they can grab on to and point fingers. It just shows how immature they are and how small their brains are.
