I have a lot of favorites, movies are pretty much what raised me. I'll try and do a top 10.
1. Charlotte's Web. (The original 1973 version)
2. Annie (NOT the Disney version.)
3. The Color Purple
4. A Patch Of Blue
5. Basketball Diaries
6. Juice
7. Anastasia
8. Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
9. To Kill A Mockingbird
10. Drop Dead Fred
I have more, but it would take a lifetime to list them all let alone remember them

Asoka- It's a Bollywood movie so there are no inappropriate scenes. It's based on real events in Asoka's life and gives you some terrific knowledge into the Hindu and Buddhist faiths, it is very emotional and has a lot of spiritual depth, and the songs, cinematography, costumes, and story are beautiful.
