Many of the signs of early pregnancy are the same symptoms you have right before you get your period. If you are due for your period soon, take a pregancy test first thing in the morning. There is no such thing as a false positive, although you may get a false negative.

Ignore all the quirky things your body is doing, because it's really impossible to tell very early in pregnancy. Test to know for sure.

To be honest, everyone's symptoms are going to be different. Some signs can be vomiting, spotting, irregular menstrual cycles, constant weight gain, constant need of wanting to sleep, increase in food intake, or home pregnancy test is positive. With each of my pregnancies, the signs were all different: the first one my food intake just increased and my stomach became bigger, no vomit or anything else. The second one all I did was vomit, eat and sleep! More sleeping than anything! And the third one all I did was sleep and go shopping; so you'll never know all females bodies aren't the same.

The week I was late (days before I took the test), I had a metallic taste in my mouth one day and another evening I was really really dizzy.

A few weeks later I had slightly tender breasts, was fatigued and peed all the time.
I only ate fresh fruit, cottage cheese, and shredded wheat the first trimester. I was never nauseated, but thinking of foods other than those was disgusting.

My first signs -- I had an aversion to foods i normally liked; my nipples were so sore it was painful to have a shirt and bra on!, and I had cramping, like i was going to get my period, but no blood. At that point, I took the test and it was, most definitely, positive. That was at about three weeks past ovulation.
I did not start getting headaches or morning sickness until about 6 weeks past ovulation, and increased urination was at about 8 weeks past ov.

I was really really tired and had extremely sore breasts. I also just had a different feeling to me. I felt something I never felt before.

I have yet to have morning sickness and I am hungry ALL the time!

I would say just spend a few bucks and buy a home kit.

Good luck!!

Missed period. Then if you are late on your period about a week, take a test. Other signs will come within the next couple of weeks.

Everyone is different but one of the following should alert you to take a pregnancy test: Missed period, tender breasts, morning sickness, bloating - some experience a difference in food likes. A real craving for ice cream & pickles for instance.

Sore breasts, having to pee more, problems concentrating, and tender lower abdomen, maybe nausea. Darker genitals, nipples, and aereolas(the area around the nipples).
