I'm looking for a commonly known Italian word (place, thing, word, etc.) that expresses the upmost current style, moderness, chicness, class, and luxury. Any thoughts?

MITO ("myth")
If you're looking for a word that can be used also as a compliment to someone, meaning "great" "awesome" "good", I think MITO will do. Italians often say "Sei un mito" meaning "you're a myth", you'll go down in history as famous as a myth, cool and hip. It is used for both men and women in the same form, since it's a noun used as an adjective in this expression.
