I'm thinking of replacing my old storage heaters with the Kalirel remote controlled system (http://www.calo-confort.co.uk/index.html)

They claim to be much more efficient than regular heating. I'd love to know if anyone has these installed and what they think of them. Are they worth getting?

With the Kalirel Range you can use radiators as independent heaters or combine them into a full central heating system courtesy of the Cyclope Radio Controller and Programmer.
Why waste money installing an expensive boiler and pipework to centrally heat your home when the Kalirel System can heat each room to the desired temperature as and when required.

Why waste money pumping expensively heated water around your home when the Cyclope Controller will individually programme each Kalirel radiator to use energy at the point of use and only upon demand.

With the Cyclope Controller you can monitor and control your entire heating system from the comfort of your arm chair, checking on room and radiator temperatures, energy consumption, running costs etc, turning radiators on and off as required.

I've sold electric boilers to serve existing gas fired boiler radiators - but nearly always had to upgrade electric meter to 100AMPs and users have found electric bills very painfull. Have no knowledge of Kalirel but suspicious of running costs.
