I was thinking about this and it hit me that what animals love about Christmas would be the essense of joy and love that they can feel from their owners and other people around this time of the year. Material things do not matter to animals regardless of what we think. It's the feeling we are experiencing at the time that we give our gifts to our pets that our animals are truly enjoying, It would be the tone in our voices our excitment that would bring excitment to them. At least this is my thoughts at this moment and I am curious to what others might think.

I also agree that animals can sense what their family is feeling. Even though material things do not matter to animals, my dogs still like unwrapping lots of new chew toys and getting a couple pieces of turkey or ham and my horses like the extra treats they receive.

this happens through fact relatively persons are stupid. They see a pretty little puppy or kitten or despite & fail to realize it will enhance - now and back right into a super animal. in the past finding out to purchase a puppy everybody ought to consult somebody who already has this type of puppy they choose & to a vet. That way they might guage from all the information they have been given despite if or no longer they have this type of committment required to guard a puppy for some years forward. in the event that they think of it is going to be too very equivalent to hard paintings then basically provide up the assumption now.

My mom's cats love Christmas because they play with the tree and the ornaments. They really love Christmas day when all of the boxes are open and wrapping paper is everywhere. We have to be careful of throwing stuff away so we don't accidentally throw a cat away as well.

I think they love the scraps of turkey, hame and other foods we share with them. That can make any animal happy. But animals also can sense the emotions in a room. If everyone is happy and cheerful they will enjoy the atmosphere, if pwople are fighting and aggitated... they will dislike it.

I agree. Animals can really sense their owners feelings. Plus the leftover stray Holiday food that ends up on the floor helps too.

I think they also like having their family around more often when they get days off.

Though they can enjoy the material things too. My dog really loved eating the gingerbread ornaments off of the tree one year...

Im shur the most thoughful thing would be to stop eating them... so many poor animals die in factory farming to be eat'n on a daily base, and christmas time is worst... more meat to feed families, lether and fur gifts... ><

I think that you are quite right, but also, as a friend pointed out, Christmas ornaments look just like cat toys, and cats like trees, so I think that cats must think that Christmas trees are erected just for them!
