i cant approach them,im to afraid.a little voice in my head keeps telling me there gonna laugh or run away,im not ugly,i just have no self assteam,what do YOU say to break the ice,are you waiting for the right one or do you go looking.HELP

being shy is the BIGGEST wealth that someone can have. I pray that you keep that wealth and be that beautiful in spirit or in person. Many women are looking for shy males and you would be surprised that I found their attention more whenever I was shy as compared to being extrovert to them. However, being a shy male is not enough. You can keep your shyness but still approach a woman to ask her something normal like a glass of water or a question that she does not mind answering. just don't try to pretend that you are looking for sex or anything, just be yourself i.e. SHY PERSON. i love your shyness :-)

You need to find your confidence.
1. You need to be happy with who you are first..no matter what anyone has ever said about you. Being happy with who you are is a choice. You don't need outside reinforcement
2. When you meet a stranger or a co-worker give them a little head nod. Just acknowledge them...a small hello. When you get comfortable doing that, add a smile. A real smile, not a forced one, just show a little teeth. When you get comfortable with that, get vocal..say hi, how are you....do this to strangers men, women, young, old, ugly, hot...just get comfortable interacting with people you don't know.
3. Stop thinking of women as angels. They are more insecure than you are and are more concerned about what you think of them then what they think of you. Judge them, find something wrong with them don't put them above you just because they are female. They are your equal, no matter what they look like.

HMM. U may want to try online dating. a lot of people have more 'courage' online than in person.
just be careful and be smart about it.
other than that.. remember that there's someone out there for everyone.....no one likes rejection.. but as long as you're approaching the right type of female (considerate, smart, intelligent and/or nice) it wont be a bad experience. i mean.. not EVERYONE u talk to is going to turn into your girlfriend or be your 'soul mate'... but you have to start somewhere.

Don't worry, there are many women who are very confident and they will approach you themselves if they find you interesting. Just be open enough to talk to them and respond when they approach you. Look eye to eye when talking to them and always always, always wear a smile on your face. Even if you are falling apart on the inside, atleast try to pretend you are confident and content.

I'm exactly like you, but the oher day I read something that should work: let's say you see this girl quite often so you just start saying 'hi' until they get used to it. Then, since they become to expect you to say 'hi,' it'd be more natural to start a conversation in a hallway or elevator.

just be your self, they are shy too. you've got to muster up the guts and guess what it gets easier the more you do it. you can never get something unless you ask for it. think of all the things you could have had if you just asked. oh yea ask open ended questions, not ones that can be answered yes or no (very important)

Just be friendly and nice. Say hi, how are you and if a girl is interested she will pick it up from there. A little secret for you..........girls are just as shy too so they may be looking for you to stat the conversation. It doesn't hurt to try : )
