Prez say gift cards so impersonal! Prez say the only personal gift card for mother in law good for a spa. Prez say she like manicure and pedicure and massage. Prez say day of beauty for her. Prez say make her favorite meal. Prez say yum yum lasagna. Prez say yum yum turkey. Prez say yum yum juicy steak. Prez say nothing that will bring more clutter. Prez better know.

Gift card from one of her fave stores. With a nice card, ribbon, the works. She can't b*tch about that since she chooses the actual gift, the godd*mned trouble making witch.
If only you could tell her she can't baby her little boy any more or do his laundry or screw him, and he's lucky to have you, so just let him grow up and let him go. Alas.
And by the way, people who are picky gift receivers can all go

A gift certificate to her favorite restaurant of store will usually do the trick. If you really want to get her an item, ask her for a wish list, or ask people who are close to her (her husband and children) to help you with the gift selection.
