my man knows that i have been broke.. he knows i needed gas money and he refuses to give me money. this morning i couldn't help but to go in his pockets and take 40 bucks.. do u think i should tell him or wait until he finds out the money was missing..we have been together for 5 yrs and lived together for 5 months

I think that is total crap he would not let you borrow GAS money. That is actually TRIFLING. You need to dump that loser.
As for the $40, you were wrong to take it wtihout telling him but repay him back and SOON and then leave his selfish a**

I wouldn't take money out of someones pocket without asking but you might want to give this guy a second thought. Unless your horrible with your money and spend way too much then I dont understand why he cant help you out. If after 5 yrs he cant help fill up your tank then what can you expect in the years to come ?

If I took money from my bf, I would tell him as soon as he walked in the door and tell him the reason why. If I were you, I wouldn't want him to find the money missing before I told him I took it. He will majorly distrust you if you don't tell him. Please...tell him and apologize. Let him know you understand his point of view but you felt desperate for the money and will pay him back asap.

I don't think it was right for you to take the money knowing that he would be upset - but now that you have - you should tell him immediately.
By the way - why are you with a guy that is so against lending you gas money? That sounds scary.

he shouldve gave you the money and yes you should tell him and i would be for getting a job if you dont have any money i think it is wrong that you took money and i think it is wrong that he didnt give you any money
