You can have sex anytime. Use precautions as any other time!! There is no "safe" time when no contraception is necessary. You know what they call those who use the rhythm method? Parents.
Anyway, women can get pregnant on their periods, especially if she has a relatively short cycle and relatively long bleeding.
Use contraception or don't have sex at all if you aren't in a position to support a family!

Yes a girl can have sex during her periods - most women although would not like the idea of having sex during their period are hornier for want of a better word, I know I am. I would suggest that you use condoms and although bleeding is minimal I would suggest using a towel to lie down on just in case. Take a shower afterwards - both of you - remember just cos a girl is on a period does not mean she cannot get pregnant so I commend you on your concerns. Periods dont stop sexually transmitted infections.

during your period your cervix is open and whole of your reproductive system is exposed and vulnerable to any infection.
Take all regular precautions.
You can get pregnant and you can get everything else +
Ideally do not have sex during your period or at least those heavy days in the beginning. Protect your self by saying no i cant

The same precautions as any other time. Try a condom. They protect against pregnancy (yes women can get pregnant while on their period) and STD. That would be your safest bet. Good luck

Yes you can have sex during your period, some women like it more than off her period!!
Is this your significant other? Are you normally careful? have him wear a condom. If you're worried about a mess, but a towel underneath you.

She *can*. I think it's icky though. Make sure she's laying on a towel or something easy to clean because she'll get blood everywhere. And use a condom! Just because she's on her period DOES NOT mean she can't get pregnant.

She can get pregnant, so use protection.
Its a time for her body to cleanse itself, so its counter productive to be sticking more stuff up there, but its not like its dangerous or anything.
Period sex is generally enjoyable for women, more hormones and all.

Yes - absolutely no problem. A good shower or bath afterwards for both is a very good idea. No need for other precautions.
