Italy is very definitely an Industrial Power. I used to live in Italy; it's much better than living in the U.S. From an economic and industrial standpoint, while Italy isn't a super power, it's extremely influential and quite technologically progressive in many different industries. It has a powerhouse Automotive Industry with multiple factories churning out advanced automobiles and auto parts, located in Turin, Italy; it has extremely sophisticated and advanced Aircraft construction and design facilities as well as advanced heavy military equipment manufacture and design facilities which produce advanced light armoured vehicles and heavy weapons platforms such as tanks, troop carriers etc. Then of course it has naval ship yards as well as well as advanced mercantile shipyards. It also has fabrication, research and design plants for advanced electrical equipment, computers, etc.
