Santa Claus / Father Christmas is the personified spirit of generosity. As long as there are people who selflessly give to others, regardless of the time of year, then yes, Santa Claus does exist. The "magic of Santa" is the warm feeling that occurs in both the giver and the recipient when a gift is freely given out of love, not out of expectation.

If ever you need proof, consider a random act of kindness, and feel the joy that act brings. Santa Claus / Father Christmas / St. Nicholas is alive and well in each generous heart.

I am sure you are just beingt a smart ***, but Santa was originally St. Nicholas. He gave to the children leaving presents in the shoes they left on the door steps at night. We honor him in the present giving aspect of christmas. But made the Santa Claus thing up for children.
