Strawberries and wood ashes?

Does sprinkling wood ashes on your plants through the winter months help the plants out in the spring?

Strawberries need a fertilizer that is relatively high in pot ash. Wood ashes qualify. Just don't over do it. A nice level dusting shoudl do the trick.

wood ashes are great for strawberry plants, it works!

It will just change the pH of your soil.
