No, sure Trezuguet missed the kick but it was Zidane's fault for getting the Red Card and not be in the shootout. But, I'm a France fan and think that Materazzi should have as well received some form of punishment at that moment. Also, Zidane shouldn't of gotten a red card that was clearly fake crying from Materazzi(or maybe it wasn't but still) and he only headbutted him so whats the big deal? Anyways Trezuguet hadn't been played for the whole tournament and that maybe had been a smart move, but it was probably a huge blow to his confidence, and he was certainly under loads of pressure.

Definitely not...
the only problem with France in the world cup was that their best two players Henry & Trezeguet dont understand each other in the field. I think that if they could have played in communion they could have won the worldcup.

No. Because as said human make mistakes, and so make worst, lets just remember Martin Palermo fail three penalty kicks in Copa America 1999(1).
Here in Mexico, in the final of Chivas vs Pumas, Manuel Sol from Chivas fail the penalty kick that give the throphy to Pumas. And he continue in the team.
And it is the human factor what makes football (soccer) interesting.

lol, you're way too harsh man. :)). i don't think anyone one blames him for that. it really wasn't his fault it had to end in a coin flip. no one wanted a draw 'cept maybe some ppl, ahem, but there were rules so the PSO had to be carried out. trez is usually a reliable striker, he just got a little unlucky there. :(
