for a 28 year old African (Nigerian) guy who plays soccer and loves to dress nicely at office, loves things from native country, and also music. i dont want to get him clothes or any cd...so i need help with original ideas. plus he has enuff soccer jerseys! help!

lol...i have gotten him a nice and quite expensive wristwatch, and we r going to Nigeria in April this coming year.

Cuff links or a tie bar. Both are very classy and in my experience most men don't have them.
A money clip with his initials ingraved on it is nice, but I don't know if that is considered to be too personal.
Depending on his work, a business card case. It's that little something that says to others that this man has style!
