Christmas to me means, the birth of Jesus Christ & celebrating it with my family. Every year, all my family gets together at my parents house, the kids (whats left of them) have to go to sleep early so Santa can come, the adults stay up all night, listening to music, eating tamales & menudo, baking cookies, cupcakes, making buñuelos, watching Christmas movies. We wake up the kids at 1am Christmas, have them open up their presents, youngest to oldest, (21 of us ages 7 - 65, including my parents), by the time everyone's done opening presents, its around 4 - 4;30 in the morning (the kids play with each toy), we eat another round of menudo, go outside & watch the sunrise, then that's when everyone goes to their houses & get some sleep!!! Of course, I forgot to mention we all hug at midnight & sing Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus. That is what we do at our house Christmas Eve/Christmas morning!!!!

Happy Holidays to everyone!!!!

Good News.

Long ago in Bethlehem

a miracle was born

Sent on a mission of healing

to repair what had been torn

The angels were singing praises

and glory to the king

For the manger contained a promise

Of new life that he would bring

He did it because of love

and the difference he’d make

Though it was only the beginning

of the long road he’d take

The journey wouldn’t be easy

but the outcome he could see

Hope for all mankind

and a chance for eternity

I’m reminded of our savior

as we celebrate another Christmas Day

Whose love still shines from above

to light and direct our way

Christmas is my favorite time of the year because of memories. Whenever I think about Christmas I think about when I was a little kid and when we would wake up on Christmas morning we would go to where is presants are and just look for a couple of minutes. No matter who woke up first we would make sure all the kids were up and then wait a few minutes them go in to our parents room and yell "MERRY CHRISTMAS" and run out to the presants and wait for our parents to come and sit down. Also a traditiion that I am carrying on with my kids is that we each take turns opening a presant. That way everyone will appreciate it alot more whn they get to there turn.

Yes,there always are traditions in my house.Christmas is my favourite holiday so it has for me many echos from every years.
The first and most important-christmas tree decorating. Another thing I like the most is gifts buying. You always think about what can you buy for your close friends and family. And for me gifts buying gives more joy than to recieve it.Also I love to cook twelve dishes for Christmas Eve.
There is something miraculous in this holiday.Something special that can't be explained so easily. Not only tradicions. Also love.Love which comes from all people you are sorrounded. And that's the most wonderful thing, which I always lose when Christmas passes.

It's the end of a stage in life and the passing to the next level that will bring new scenarios in the year to come

Yes, there is. You see, every year, my family gets together to have a big Christmas party at my Gramma's. But somehow, every year the Holidays seem to dim out a little each year.
