In Cuba, or the DR, or PR. The Spanish really don't produce as many top-notch players, and stuff, same with the Mexicans. This is still America's pasttime, in America. They can call it whatever they want over there.

No. Just because there are a lot of Hispanic players doesn't make baseball "Latin America's pastime". They're very good players. You can't blame teams for wanting them.

No. Although Latin America loves baseball, Asian countries win at the LL and WBC levels. Also baseball was invented in the US so it will always be America's Pastime :).

Eventhough there are alot of Latin American baseball player out here (and players like Santana , Ortiz , Rodriguez-A and etc are hell of players) North Americans , some European(Mike Piazza) and even Asians (Matsui , Ichiro , Wang , and etc )play in MLB too.

maybe b/c lotz of players come from there and alot of the great players that play rigth now r from latin america so yeah u can say that

No way... the most widespread sport in Latin america is soccer.

not really ..cuz yea there are alot of latinos playing for good teams (well some)..but there is still asians ..and a couple of african-americans still playing the game of baseball

don't forget the japanese, or , african-american aaahhh just call it the multi-millionaires league or the Escalade with 22 inch spinners league
