Wait until you're actually dating and reach the intimate stage. Asking him now would be wrong because you don't know each other that well yet.

There's nothing wrong with anyone being a virgin - male or female. They get high marks in my book. Less chance of disease. Anyone who tells you different is jealous.

Ran into this problem once....I started dating a friend of mine who was 25..I was 21 or 22 at the time and I am not a virgin. Anyway, he didn't date a lot but I knew that he dated a girl that was like 10 years older than him in college and had been in another relationship for 2 years before. So I figured, he had at least done the deed....oh no...So one day while making out..just kissing he asked me how far I had gone with a guy....I was like well I'm not a virgin if thats what your asking....he resonded...i am...it was awkward after that

he won't think you're strange. honestly, i was about that age when I'd lost it, and i was confident enough in the fact that i was not to digress but insecure enough that I'd always mention it early on in the conversation. girls always threw up in my face about their being so much more experienced than i was, and how i wouldn't be able to handle them, and so on and so forth. on some level looking back on it i think it was a slick way of getting me to want them more, or to try harder but quite honestly it sort of had the opposite effect.

you don't really have to ask that question, chances are, if you're just talking about it in general you can pretty much tell by the responses or perhaps he'll just be forthcoming like i am. what is important is what effect asking will have on the friendship. he can't think that's why you are or are not interested in him. at this point perhaps the point that he's inexperienced is all that you really need or want to know at this point; why ruin it by finding out why, or the extent to which he lacks that experience to begin with ...

It will probably scare him away if you ask. It could be that he's just not very confident with women. I know, I was like that. If it's important that you know, get to know him better first. Don't get into sex topics, because at an early stage of a relationship, it's best to concentrate on each other romantically, rather than sexually. And there's nothing wrong with someone being a virgin at age 25.

If you bring it up in a good context, that you really like virgins or inexperienced men, then ask him. I am positive he will not think your strange at all.

If you already know he's inexperienced, then why ask? All questions about sexual past are off limits, if you ask me...

ask him out first. if hes "inexperienced" and 25, and not saving himself for spiritual reasons, he probably isnt smooth with women, and isnt going to ask you.

step up to the plate...
