ahhh...the second trimester! haha You will get a TINY bit of energy back, or so "they" say...however...*I* never did. I have been continuously tired throughout this entire pregnancy so far. It's only gotten worse. Now, at 31 weeks, the littlest things wear me out. Like walking up the stairs will get me out of breath...and I am not overweight or anything...its form being pregnant.
Just rest up as much as you can. Take naps if possible. Whenever you feel the need to taek a load off, sit down and relax. (take advantage of it...pregnancy is a great excuse to act 'lazy' haha).
Another good reason to rest up now while you can...I found that the further alogn I got, the harder it is to sleep. Now it is pretty much impossible for me to get comfortable in bed...or ont eh couch...or in a chair...or anywhere for that matter. Plus with the frequent bathroom breaks all day and night at this point, I am averaging abotu 40 minutes of sleep at a time...before I have to wake up and get comfortable again or get up to use the bathroom! LOL
So yes...it is pretty normal to be as tired as you are....and it will only get worse. (not tryign to scare you or anything...) Even though you will get more and more worn out as you get further along...it isna thorrible. Its not like I NEVER sleep...
Just rest up.
Good luck and congrats!

I will be 17 weeks on Friday and I am still tired alot. I used to have insomnia before I got pregnant and now I fall asleep at 9:00 everynight. I hear with some people the fatigue lasts the whole pregnancy. It is caused by all the extra hormones mainly progesterone. When not pregant a normal level is between 4-22. When pregnant the level is 26-89. Mine was 47, 3 weeks ago so that explains the fatigue. Good luck

Uh, "normal" in pregnancy is kind of an oxymoron. Don't have any expectations because pregnancy is different for everyone.
I don't think the fatigue will ever go away until your kids are out of the house and stable. Sorry. Now you're in it for the long haul.

oh no, the fatigue lasted the whole time with both of my pregnancies. All are different, but i'd reckon you'll be tired a lot still to come. Just keep taking your prenatals. They really do help with the energy.

normal. I would just be sure to sneak in a mid day nap. Your body is working overtime, all the time. give it a rest. it can be like this all pregnancy if you don't slow down when the urge comes. good luck and congrats.
