Have you ever perused those little boxed things near the checkout counters at Borders Books and Music, or Barnes and Noble stores? They've got these cute little Zen in a box, Bitty Buddha in a box, Yoga to go, Sushi "kit", golf related, little mind exercise games, even stuff like henna tattoos and so on! They're relatively cheap and cool... you mind find something that suits this person's interests and whatnot.

Hope this helps... heck maybe you'll find a cute one YOU like!

At least Madonna had the decency to wear gloves, have you seen those hands? yuk. I am 61 (just) and perhaps a little overweight. I wear jeans, and trousers and I love the loose tops and some of the fashion that the young people wear. I also like to be comfortable so I wear anything I feel suits me. I wouldn't be seen dead in anything tight but neither should anyone who is even slightly overweight. I have reached the age when I know who I am and what I can wear as is usually the case with mature well adjusted women.

Everything is on sale this time of year - particularly at discount department stores. I just picked up an at home facial kit for my sister-in-law for 11 bucks. Do a little browsing at your local discount store. I'm sure you'll find something. Candles, soaps, chocolate -- these are all good.

A pound of coffee from Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts (if you know she makes her own coffee)

a pair of comfy slipper socks and a packet of gourmet cocoa for winding down after work.

a bottle of wine (if you know she drinks wine)

Starbucks gift card (again, if you know she drinks coffee)
