My very good friend loves music. Does anyone know of any concerts coming up in kansas city, mo, reggae or alternative! He's also obsessed with guitars and music, he plays the guitar, so any any ideas? around $00 or less. Thanks for your help!

You could try looking on Ebay for a Balalaika. I bought one recently and I love it, I am a guitar player as well and let me tell you, get him a Prima model Balalaika and he may go gaga over it. Theyre extremely similar to a guitar, most only have 3 strings on them and theyre sooooo easy to play. If you look on Ebay you can find a lot of them for under $100. I bought mine for $40 and it plays like its brand new even though it appears to be older than my grandparents, possibly even their parents. They are a pretty surdy instrument and dont require a lot of practice to igure out and the biggest benefit is that they sound just as beautiful as they look. The wood on these instruments is often stained in a dark color anywhere from Red to cream wiht brown trim. They are truly an investment worthwhile. I would recommend one to him.

My ex is a huge music fan and a guitar player and I would always give him new music magazines, sheet music for his favorite bands or songs, picks and straps. My BF got me XM Stereo a few years back and I LOVE it. Or check out tickemaster for upcoming shows. Good luck.

I would buy him a ukulele or someother instrument. Musicians like to expand on what they know and what they can create, so a new kind of instrument would surely be lots of fun for him.

Get another IPOD MP4, if he already has one I´m sure he still needs another one.
But a concert ticket will blow him away!! It´s more expensive but youn won´t believe his face once he sees it, specially from his favorite band/singer
