My question is...Can you tell how far along you are in a pregnancy just by the symptoms alone? I recently found out I was pregnant, and I have been having symptoms for about three weeks now. How long after conception do the symptoms start? Just curious:) Thank you!

First question: they will know by the babies measurements at how far along you are don't worry. And they are going to try to figure it out by your Last Monthly Period by how far along you are and they will work with you in your implantation bleeding or what you thought was a period by describing it to them. They want to figure this out just as much as you do. Second question: Symptoms don't tell you how far along you are. Maybe if you were in your second trimester maybe if you had bad symptoms and then they stopped and you felt immediately better, but that's not likely. I didn't have a lot of symptoms that lasted for very long in the first trimester other than headaches, dizziness, aversion to foods, and really really tired. But during my second trimester I had the occasional headache, really tired, moody, sore breasts, bad constipation and bowel movements. This trimester (the third) I am tired, I am urinating A LOT (holy Hell it's been so long since I wasn't up every hour in the night just to visit the toilet), my hips and back hurt like crazy, and my feet are really swollen. So if you went off of symptoms alone, you could be all over the map depending on what you have and each pregnancy is different. Maybe look into getting the book What To Expect When You're Expecting. It's been really helpful for me with things that I'm going through and what I should be expecting at doctor appointments and just every day concerns. It's a great book to have around

Everyone is different. For me, my first symptom was tiredness around 6 weeks along. Then frequent urination and nasuea around 8 weeks. Before 6 weeks i felt nothing at all, but had a late period. I'm not sure if it is possible to tell by symptoms alone, because everyones are different. Some have breast tenderness/soreness and i never have gotten that, and im 26 weeks already. Only way to know for sure how far along you are is your missed period. Good luck! and Congrats!

Some women get the symptoms the day after conception, others go through their whole pregnancy with no symptoms.

For everyone it is different. Symptoms alone really won't tell you anything. You should see a doctor and he or she can tell you how far along you are. If you know the date of your last period you can figure it out on your own. If not, the only way to really tell is to see a doctor.

I got my first symptom right away. Here is a way to tell your due date. Take the last date of when your period started...lets say December 1, add 7 days, now we are the 8th, subtract 3 months. So your due date is:September 8.

pregnancy affects everyone differently so unfortunately there's no firm way to tell how far along you are by symptoms alone. if you know the start date of your last period, you can figure it out

there are no set pregnancy symptoms. Each Pregnancy is Different for each woman. Only your doc can give you that Info , an even the Docs info is based on your last period.

well in like the 2nd month you will start to get moring sickness and you will hate it. not only that but everytime that you see or smell food you will throwup or at least want to. but dont worry that will go away by like the 4th. but then you get the food cravings and that is the fun part cause you can eat anything even if its weird and you really wont care that much.
have fun having a baby and being pregnant is a blasty blast.

Just like everyone says - everybody is different. But, you can go to the pregnancy sites and use their calculator and put in the date of your last cycle and it will give you a pretty accurate date if you know when your last cycle was.
