Yes I have been. Next time I interviewed I explained that there had been a conflict of interest and that I felt it too personal to explain in detail. Also, it is very important to state that you had deeply wished the conflict had not existed or that there had been a way to quash the conflict with no further ado because you had very much enjoyed your job and the company that had employed you.

If you were terminated, it is best to be honest and explain what you have learned. It depends upon the situation, but usually, you can talk about it in the interview in such a way that you show you have come out of the experience more knowledgeable and prepared to be a better employee. Do not blame the company if you were fired.
Oh, yes. I was fired once as a manager and it was not at all my fault. But I did learn and I was able to use the above to show how I matured.

Having a "terminated" on your resume is not the kiss of death that some people think it is.
On your resume, simply list the dates of all of your jobs, and do not included "terminated" in writing.
If this termination goes back 2-3 positions, you may not be asked about it.
During the interview, it the issue comes up, be honest about the termination, give a one-sentence explanation ("a personality conflict with my supervisor") and leave it at that. You may be asked for details, but be brief, and honest.
Good luck.

Don't get yourself sacked from any of your previous jobs. Then you'll be fine.
