bith control pills will not kill the baby. The only reason plan b works is because it is a amped up dose of the drugs in birth control. If she takes alot of pills, then it can damage her insides, and even hurt the unborn child. It can cause brain damage in an unborn. I suggest if you guys don't want a baby, then you talk to a doctor, and see what your options are now. I suggest adoption if you don;t want a baby. good luck.

For one you could of gone to Planned Parenthood for the 72 hour pill (Plan B) so to say you cannot afford it is pure bullS%^t.
No it wouldnt kill your baby if that is what you are hoping. It could leave the child with birth defects but you have to be using it a long amount of time during pregnancy for that too happen. If she suspects she is pregnant the doctor will talk to her and find out stuff and make a decision to put her on the pill or not
Frankly I dont by your story
IM SORRY but who is on here saying it is safe to take borth control while pregnant?? Where did you here this because I just saw a program on the Health Channel about a woman who lost her baby because she took birth control for 4 months because she didnt know she was pregnant and the child came out with birth defects. You cannot use birth control while pregnant. It is NOT safe

Well, it is not a good idea to take them during pregnancy, however, When I got pregnant for the first time, I did not know and I took a whole month of birth control. When my period did not come the next month, and I found out that I was already 2 months pregnant that was my first question to the doctor. He said that he doubts it would hurt anything. But, I was worried the whole time I was pregnant. My little girl is 7 now and she is healthy as a horse, and very smart. I don't think that taking that one month did anything at all, except make me worry. Good luck, I wish the best for you. Merry Christmas.

Hello there.
I just wanted to clarify something that has been said here and I did not want you to be confused.
You are absolutely correct in saying that the middle of the 28 day cycle (or period) is the fertile time. I think that the person who was trying to tell you that it was not the fertile time thought that you were talking about the middle of the menstrual cycle when you said the middle of her period. You are correct and that is the most fertile time for your girlfriend.
Even so the odds are pretty slim that your girlfriend is pregnant. Just to be sure the doctor will want her to have a blood test to be absolutely certain whether she is pregnant or not. They are pretty careful not to prescribe birth control pills to someone who might be pregnant. There have been cases of women who unknowingly took BC pills in the very early weeks of their pregnancy and for the most part things are usually all right. It is of course not recommended which is why doctors try to avoid it. The blood test is very accurate at a very early date so they will be able to find out very soon.
I hope that things work out the way you want them to. Good luck.
Blessings
Lady T~

Birth control will not kill the baby but if she takes it while she is pregnant it can cause the baby to be deformed or have down syndrome the doctor will ask her the last time she had sex and if it is that soon and what happened with the condom the doctor will probally make her wait till she actually starts her period before she even starts the pill to be on the safe side. If i was you I would start the pill after she start her period.

It is possible to detect a pregnancy after 6 days with a blood test. Tell them that your aren't sure if she is pregnant and they will take a blood test to make sure she isnt pregnant. Alot of people get pregnant on birth control and continue taking it for a few weeks and the baby is usually fine.
