How can I get static electricty off my ScottEvest?

Also, I wear a pair of Dickies for pants and everytime i take either off, I hear the cackle of static electricity. I'm worried becaus the ScottEvest is meant to carry electronic equipment in its numerous pockets, but it seems counter-productive if it produces so much static electricity (which is, of course, dangerous to electronics.)

Hmm- Maybe you could try rubbing your vest with a dryer sheet? I do know it helps keep static from building on computer screens.
