Is there anything I can do about it - in reality?
She is being very awkward as regards the parental responsibility order and I am scared that if I challenge on this she will just stop him seeing me.
Is this a valid fear?

Keep a journal and document everything! Once you have enough evidence, take her to court and file a complaint for contempt. In the meantime, if she is a vindictive person, don't let her know what you plan to do. She might try to keep your son from you, either to hurt you or just to spite you. And yes, your fear IS valid! I have close friend that had the same thing happen to him!

Anything that has been issued as a court order she must follow through with. It is not her choice. If she does not follow through she can be held in contempt of court. You can hire an attorney or call legal aid if not able to pay for one. Then have the proper paper work processed. Don't fear her, she has to follow the laws as well as anyone else. Good luck and God bless****

if you do not obey a court order, you will be held in contempt. Why are you scared she will stop you from seeing your son because of HER disobeying the court order? She should be the one afraid.

And yes, what you do about it is contact your lawyer if you have one, or you will have to file for a court date regarding this matter. The court will help you on doing this.

No I don't think its valid because you can see him if its court ordered and depending on the situation if she is not following that order the judge that set it in place could hold her in contempt of court and she could be fined or get jail time... If that is not the case then you would need to go to your family court office and petition for joint custody or pre scheduled visitation

Valid fear, yes. But, she MUST obey a court order! Report her.

Get a good lawyer. You have rights, too.

I am assuming you are the father. As long as you are current in your payments and are a good and responsible father, she will have to adhere to the court order as it is written and if she doesn't you can get it ammended in your favor. Call a lawyer.

Yes u must follow court order and so must she, if she refuses you to see him at anytime you can call the cops and they can literally come in her home and take him if she refuses them too. Not that you want him to see that, but she needs to see that you are not willing to be under her control, its not in her hands when it comes to court orders.
