My mom thinks I'm weird and halarious because I call myself beautiful.

So is that wrong to call myself beautiful and think I am without being self righteous or egotistical?

Nothing is wrong. I find problem with your mom for not boosting your self-esteem.

I LIKE the way I look.
I am a 54-year-old male.
I KNOW what other 54 year old men look like. Usually they are a white-hair or ball-headed physical wreck.
I live in a retirement community and I see them every day.

I have been lifting weights for 20 years. I am big, huge, muscular.
I look great, feel great. And I do NOT look like an older man.

So there. I think I am good looking. You believe you are beautiful. Everyone else can just keep their negative opinions to themselves.

There's nothing wrong with that, as long as you don't try to make others feel that you feel that you are better than them. I have a friend who is very beautiful and I know she thinks very highly of herself, but she's not egotistical in the least. She is always complementing others and that makes her not only beautiful on the outside, but beautiful on the inside as well. I'm glad you have high self-esteem.

I would say that is not true because I say that I am beautiful and sexy all the time to myself, lol, no one else will. Sure there are things I do not like about my body, but most of them are change-able. Things like boobie size, or eyes and such like that I have learned to love because it is me, and me as a person, is beautiful. I wish more people though positively about themselves because then we would not have so many belemic and anorexic, or even over eaters.

Not true, more common I think among the young.
It's good you are not insecure.
As long as you have inner beauty as well, you'll be fine.

Don't use your appearance to manipulate and beware of others who may want to use you because of your appearance.

you have this fortune that will attract opportunity , but will also attract people with shallow intentions.

Be kind.

People are never satisfied in terms of physical appearance.

Why do you think people are so concerned about going to the gym?

It is okay to think you are beautiful.

It is a lot better when you allow others to make that choice first.

It is not pride to love yourself but NEVER allow thoughts of who you are to go DEEP into your mind.

Like the good book easily teaches:

PRIDE COMES BEFORE A FALL.

I don't believe it is wrong to think of yourself as beautiful as long as you don't give yourself excessive love of self. That's a deadly sin called Pride.

We should all be happy because we are made in God's image. But I think it is more of what we need to work on physically when we know we are out of shape or something.
