they do work i have ridge racer 6 ntsc ur tv has to 60hz to work ,i had dead or alive4 , 5 weeks before it was out in the uk by importing it. List of confirmed Region Free Xbox 360 Games:

If they say NTSC then the chances are that it won't work on a PAL (UK) Xbox 360. Sorry about that.

PAL is the UK version. also for Europe it should be region 2, any other wouldnt work on the console. also its the same for DVDs. x
