I just moved into a new house. Well as you may already know the house isn’t too new. The sinks, tubs, and toilets however aren’t too bad. They did get some water rings though. My niece started cleaning the restroom sink with a brillo pad while I was in the kitchen. She said “The dirt isn’t coming off” so we left that alone. Today I notice it isn’t the water damage it looks like the brillo scratched the sink. Can anyone please help me so I won’t have to buy new sinks?

+ Go to a gem store and get some jeweler's rouge, apply it thick and then buff it out. It may take a couple of applications depending on how much damage has been done with the Brillo.

You can have a company come in and re-coat the porcelain, but that would probably cost you more then just buying a new sink.

Just take a razor knife or a razor blade scrapper and glide it around the edges it will come off easily.
