well i just hade a baby girl on the 6th name mallory the thing is i hade sex with my boyfriend lastnigh6t but now im hurting today do you think i should tell my doctor. my mom said im nuts because girls can get preg easy by just having a baby?

This is why your doctor told you not to have sex until your six week check up. FOr most woman..myself included..it will be very uncomfortable.
And yes, woman who just gave birth can get pregnant again VERY easily because you are more fertile.
No more sex!!

Please don't do that again to yourself. You are supposed to allow your body enough time to recuperate - 6 weeks as told by your doctor, I'm sure. I wouldn't call the doctor and tell him, however, if you start experiencing some difficulties such as abnormal clots or bleeding, you should definitely pick up the phone. I believe that you can become pregnant very easily after birth. You should not have intercourse - there are so many other sexual "things" you guys can do. Be firm and tell your boyfriend "NO MORE SEX!"

Your mom is right. I knew a girl who had just had a baby, had sex after only 2 weeks, and when she went for her 6 week check up, she found out she was pregnant again. Good luck.

Yep Should have listened to the dr. I would have been scared to death anyways....it hurt after I waited the six weeks. I would take it easy for a while...tell the bf he is going to have to be patient. You just gave birth for crying out loud. Congrats on the new baby though, and you all have a Merry Christmas

Yes you should tell your doctor because you could have ruptured something. You really should be using protection if you are having sex already casue it is really really really easy to get pregnant right after you have had a baby

after my first daughter i had sex two weeks after giving birth and i was hurting like hell the next day. i cried. i didn't tell my doctor i just took some pain medication and vowed to wait the rest of my six weeks. and your mom is right that you're more fertile after giving birth.

I'm sure you were told to not have sex for 6 weeks, why didn't you wait? Yes you can get pregnant again right away.

this is one of the reason you are told to wait to have sex it will hurt like h.e.ll you wont have to tell the doctor he will know when he checks you. you mom is right. no sex til your past your six week check up and on bc and use a condom for the first month of bc

Just take it easy today. It probably has nothing to do with having sex, many women have sex before their doctor says they can because WHO KNOWS YOUR BODY BETTER? A doctor who sees you for 15 minutes or YOU?
But be careful and use protection so that you don't get pregnant.
