It's the same as telling a woman her husband is committing incest.

It so thoroughly attacks your belief system you can only respond irrationally.

I consider my self to be an independent, progressive, liberal, which means I tend to vote Democrat. However, a few of things to think about are:

1. This is not really an intellectual forum. It's fun I like it and there are intellectuals here, but it's not a contolled forum

2. I see just as many of us acting the very same way. It exists on all sides and just as much

3. Always try to ask questions in an open and not slanted way and you might get some less of that. Not guaranteed.

4. I know your frustrated, but your question has the elements you complain about, with terms like "so called" and 'wacko". We often get what we give.

Just some suggestions!

Merry Christmas!

Because they're bombarded on a daily basis with people whining how much they hate republicans (for no other reason than having their own opinion, as stupid as it might be) when republicans don't go around whimpering how much democrats are the blame for them being miserable (at least not outside of talk radio). They come to Yahoo Questions to answer questions, not to be harassed into a political debate. Every time you see the word "Bush" online, imagine it's a huge flash banner ad that you can't close; now you're seeing the world through the eyes of Republicans.

Because you're not really asking a question -- you're bashing the President and conservatives (you did call us WACKO Republicans, didn't you?) with a maturity level that makes Pee Wee Herman look like Ward Cleever. We have no problem defending our values, our beliefs, and our support of the President we voted for -- we're just sick and tired of liberals repeatedly bashing our President without being able to clearly articulate what he has done that justifies you calling him an idiot. Let's take it one step further: Not only are the liberals unable to criticize the current administration constructively, not only are the liberals unable to give the American people a cogent plan for what they would do differently (remember, the same candidates who promised to end the war before the election are now saying we can't pull the troops out of Iraq yet), the liberals engage in the EXACT SAME question-trashing behavior when conservatives criticize former President Bill Clinton for his failure to act when the Sudanese government was ready to hand Osama bin Laden over on a silver platter (the blood of all those who died on the U.S.S. Cole and on 9/11 is on HIS hands) or when Clinton is criticized for sitting back and taking credit for the economy that Reagan built, which he later destroyed, or when Clinton is criticized for his inability to keep his Johnson in his pants (or in Hillary) where it belonged and how he got up in front of the American people and flat-out lied about his indiscretions...do you see a pattern emerging here?

Hypocrisy, thy name is Democrat...

There's trashing from both sides, but I have noticed, on this site, that there are a lot more liberal-bashing questions than the other way around. There are a lot of questions that begin with 'What would liberals do if...' . It seems that when liberals bash republicans, it is done with a specific person in mind (such as Bush), but when republicans bash liberals it is generalized.

Try asking a non-stupid question. That would help immensely.

For your benefit, a non-stupid question does not question whether Bush is an idiot, why he hasn't been impeached, whether he is comparable to Hitler, etc. Understand?

But based on what I see here, if I put a bunch of monkeys on keyboards, and had them compete against the liberals on here, I would bet a dollar to a donut the monkeys would formulate an intelligent question before the liberals.

Prove. Me. Wrong!

Why don't you people try winning an election other than once every 12 years? You come in here asking a skewed question filled with hate, and then wonder why you get hatred back!

do all the WACKO republicans try to trash your question? Name calling at it's finest!

Many have lost all concepts of civility.

I noticed when asking a simple question about Presidents like "Have you noticed how stress causes presidents to age and turn gray while in office" BTW this was asked and later deleted as a epithets or slur.

Suddenly I get answers like Scum bag worse than death liberal you suck terrorist ***** Bush is the best president ever.

It makes you wonder

There is nothing that they or Bush can say to possibly defend their actions. There aren't alot of defenses for greed. The only decent defense for greed I ever heard was Gordon Gecko's awesome speech in the movie Wall Street. Conservatives just get crabby and start attacking. Must be the water in the gated communities and country clubs. They start talking about Clinton and how he got his weiner sucked. Hell, I am far to the left and I never even supported Clinton in the first place. So it doesn't even matter to me when they go on the attack about the guy. I'm like, "Do you got anything else besides that?"
