that is her biological name. just like fantasia of american idol. i like beyonce. i believe that when you have children you should give them unique names like her parents did. jack, jane, dick and mary (no offense, they are still beautiful names) have been exhasted

Yes Beyonce is her real name. It's actually her mother's maiden name. Her mother's name is Tina Beyince. For some reason Beyonce's name has an o instead of an i. Beyonce's family is creole. Her grandparents were french speaking Creole's. So that's where Solange gets her name from. Solange is a french name.

Try understand this, Beyonce's mom is Tina Beyonce, in Beyonce's moms family they dont have a boy(to carry out the surname Beyonce), so she named her first daughter Beyonce her surname "Beyonce" to keep the name going since they have no boys to carry the surname Beyonce.

I saw her on Ellen the other day -- it was a rerun of her show shot in Central Park in NYC. They showed a clip of her singing when she was a kid and in the song she said "my name is Beyonce". That told me it is her real name.
