Is it bad to call someone after you've had their number for nearly two years?

The question is slightly misleading. I was flipping through my high school yearbook and found that this girl from my class had left her number in my yearbook. I didn't know her too well in high school, but the more coincidental thing is that I've found that she is going to the same school I'm going to now. So after nearly two years, should I give her a call or is that too weird?

Hey, it won't hurt to call her. You have nothing to lose. She may remember you or she may not. If she does remember you, it could lead to a nice friendship and/or a relationship. If she doesn't remember you, no big deal. You have to take chances in life. Good luck.

actually yeap it is a little weird! but if u didn't know each other very well but she left her number 4 u... then i bet she is kinda... how shall i say it.. interested in u....! you said that u r know going to the same school... so if i were u i wouldn't call her, i would try to approach her at school now...! i am a girl that's why i am saying that! believe me she will appreciate it much more if u talk to her at school by explaining her the situation and especially the fact that u didn;t know she'd let her number in the yearbook.! otherwise and if i was her i would probably think that u have a brain problem 4 calling me after 2 yearrrrrrrrssssssss!

Go for it - tell her how you came across her number and just tell her you thought you'd call to wish her a merry x-mas or something of the sort. Don't be surprised if she'd not single though . . .

I don't think it's weird, but her number may have changed. Just tell her what happened, you stumbled across her number and wondered how she was doing. See what happens from there.
