I can understand why teachers dont like to let them. It can make a mess and knowing most high school students - they would leave a mess. Also, it can distract from the teaching and work. I mean how would you feel if you were trying to talk to a group of people and they were all busy doing something else - you'd feel frustrated because they arent paying attention. That being said - I would have loved to been able to have lunch in class lol, or have a snack definitely.

No. The classroom is for education. They need to eat in the designated area, and leave the food behind.

No way! There are already enough distractions without bringing food into it! The teachers have more than enough to deal with already, besides worrying about the kids having food in class!!

Absolutely not. It is distracting to try to study or listen to a lecture while people are smacking, crunching, and rattling wrappers.Then there are those who leave a mess and not throw things in the trash.

No its inconvenient to the teacher..plus you would have to deal with everything that people wanted to eat...you are in class to learn..not eat.
